SURIN – The news says that every third weekend November, in the province of Surin, Thailand, always held Surin Elephant Roundup or Festival of Elephant.
This week’s 49 times the annual event was held. Plus hundreds of elephant keeper from various parts of Thailand always participated in the event. They get together and discuss all things about elephant. Although the role of elephants as a diminished burden of towing tractors replaced, the tradition has been going on since 1960 is maintained.
